World Tiles are found everywhere on the map, Spaceships cannot go through them, but you can use any Ammo type (sniper only damages them after bouncing off a wall once) to destroy them

Trivia

Tiles used to have a 25% chance of dropping metal upon being destroyed but this was removed in the 16th of September, 2022
